The water-repellent fabric provides protection against water, while the outer filament fabric absorbs noise, making the 'Ghost' the quietest jacket on the market, ideal for hunting in dense forest. The series commissions artists to create limited-edition broadsides of poems from the magazine and brings the artist and featured poet to campus for an artist talk and reading. The 'Ghost' hunting coat is made of a special combination of 2 fabrics to make it a perfect coat for hunting. The award will allow for increased payments to the magazine’s contributors and support the Jason Bradford and Shirley Niedermann Broadside Series. The NEA announced $28.8 million in GAP awards as part of its first round of 2023 grants. UNCW’s Ecotone magazine, produced by faculty and MFA students in the Department of Creative Writing, has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts to receive a Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) award of $10,000. ![]()
